Hey everyone.. I am excited to say that Alex has been doing VERY well in school this year. As this year wraps up there are still a lot of unknowns as to what hurdles we'll be jumping next year. My amazing Alex is reading like a champ and although stubborn sometimes he is always about to express love. I'll take that everyday and twice on Sundays. Just last week I received a permission slip for Nick to play football this upcoming year. He is VERY excited to play. I asked Alex if he wanted to play and he said,"NO". I know he's waiting for baseball and soccer. :-)
I really didn't pursue the Special Olympics issue this year. Since Alex has had his new insoles, (he has one leg longer than the other) he has gained so much more confidence and been running with excitement and confidence. I've decided to just see where that leads us. I apologize for taking so long. On a personal note.. I'm doing a lot better as of late. Depression still sucks. I've had some pretty monumental moments lately that has helped to pull me from my internal dispair.
